Compassion is Love in Action
Each of us has an innate capacity for compassion. It is as natural to us as breathing.
Here is something we can all do: Commit three compassionate acts every day; one for yourself, one for another person and one for Earth. It doesn’t have to be anything dramatic. Set aside some time to care for yourself. Call a friend having a rough time, help a stranger, pick up a little trash on the beach. The possibilities are endless.
The funny thing is—compassion is contagious. Kindness begets more kindness.
No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.
Without love, there is no reason to know anyone, for love will in the end connect us to our neighbors, our children and our hearts.
